- Yesterday was not all that eventful. I guess Thursday is not exactly the most eventful day that I have normally so I can forgive that. I finished work at a normal time and went home and spent most of the night finishing up Yakuza 3 (龍が如く3). That about sums up the evening.
- No real plans for the weekend thus far. There are some events but nothing I'm incredibly interested in. Maybe I'll go and check out a movie at the Tokyo International Zombie Movie festival? They are re-showing "Dawn of the Dead" (1978) again but I've already seen it in the theater. There are a few others that I might want to see though, possibly "City of the Living Dead" or "The Beyond" which are both Fulci zombie movies (and part of the Gates of Hell trilogy).
- Or maybe I'll just got pick up Yakuza 4 (龍が如く4) in order to taunt Minh, who took a day off from work for the US release of the game, which is in about a week or so. It's been out in Japan for about a year now. In fact, a new one is coming out here in two weeks or so. That, or maybe I'll pick up Catherine (キャサリン), which is a weird puzzle horror combination. I played a demo of it and it combines things I like, a main character that is eerily similar to me, weird horror, bizarre puzzle gameplay, and a slew of strange monster bosses.
- I need a new pair of shoes. I've come to this conclusion because the heels on my current pair have worn down to nothing but wooden stubs. This is bad because without the rubber part on the sole, they don't exactly have the best amount of traction. Actually they have none. This means I am bound to slip and fall at some point unless I replace them. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
- I should start up an exercise routine again. Probably I could get into something if I get that workout game for the Kinect. It reads your body movements and gives you real time feedback regarding how well you are doing the exercises. It also tailor makes a program for you body type based on info you input, a test routine, and some type of body scan done by the Kinect sensor. Not only that but you can download new routines as well. These include cardio training courses and toningome of them are things like "Bollywood Dance Class" though so maybe it's a mixed bag.
